    Pastor McLeod,
I must say I absolutely love coming to church again!!!! Monyetta Austin is my aunt and I have been attending church with her at CRC Norfolk since I was about 12 years old. Now at 27, I have joined her at CRC Chesapeake and I feel revived in my spirit. I now have a thirst for God unlike I’ve ever had before. I live in Norfolk and purposely stay with my aunt on the weekends just to attend CRC. I love that you teach on real issues and directly from the word of our Father. I also love the atmosphere and how welcoming and comfortable I feel there. For the longest time I avoided church because I felt out of place and that I was being judged. I felt more at home amongst sinners than I did with saints. But here at CRC Chesapeake, I feel like people actually lead by example and follow the word as it was written. I also like how you all hold each other accountable for your actions both in and out of church. Thank you for allowing me to worship with you. I look forward to becoming a member soon.
    Sincerely,
    Chauntia Moye

Being a Christian doesn’t mean being perfect. It means being forgiven by a GOD who is. It’s funny how non-Christians feel its there place to tell us Christians how to be when they know nothing of us. The Bible wasn’t written for non-believers, it was written for believers to know what they should do. We are judged by our faith, not by our works, so stop being nice and start being faithful and telling the truth. (It’s not about) peoples feelings, so what you’re hurt. God’s feelings matter more!
