The Praise, Worship & Arts ministry exists to facilitate an atmosphere of worship and reverence that brings glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our goal is to help fulfill the vision of Calvary Revival Church Chesapeake, which is “Reaching, Teaching and Releasing hurting people through the power of Jesus Christ”, through the ministry of Praise, Worship and the Arts. 

  
Praise Worship & Arts Ministries

Minstrels (Band)
The Minstrels are a significant part of the worship here at CRCC. Therefore, skilled musicians are needed for this team. The band’s specific responsibility is to help in preparing the congregation for what God desires to accomplish in the hearts and lives of His people. This is a pre-audition ministry. 


Worship Teams
Worship teams play a vital part in our Worship Services. They relay a message in song that reinforces the sermon for that day. This is an excellent way to share your God-given talents with others. This is a pre-audition ministry.

Choirs
Choirs are use periodically throughout the year in leading corporate worship. They also participate in special worship emphases throughout the year. Choirs include; 1 Voice Choir, Senior Adult Choir, Youth Choir, Children Choir.

Dance
The ministry of dance is another form of expression used during praise and worship. Dance includes; mime, hip hop, liturgical, and classical techniques. Dancers render service two to three Sundays per month. This is a pre-audition ministry.

Drama
The Drama Ministry is a wonderful addition to the Praise Worship & Arts Ministry. Their appearances make a significant impression on the congregation. These “mini-dramas” help to enhance an idea or activity that is important to the general congregation or reinforces the Pastor’s message.


Technical Arts
The Technical Arts of the Praise, Worship & Arts Ministry is vitally important to the overall enhancement of the worship environment. It is a cohesive team of sound engineers, visual equipment operators, video cameras, projection screens, the use of computers and various media software applications. This ministry requires people with a keen ear, a desire to learn and an ability to react quickly in any given situation.
