6am Prayer Day 5

Giver of all Grace and Good things, King of Kings and LORD of Lords…Wonderful Savior,

I come unto Thee this morning begging for divine healing for CRCC in every way…

Master, Your Word declares, "Jas 5:16  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

Although we make no claims to the state of our own righteousness, we know that Thou hast imputed the righteousness of Christ unto us because of your great love.  So we come in Jesus’ Name, by Jesus’ blood, because of Jesus’ sacrifice, and totally and completely on the merits of Jesus alone.

LORD, please HEAL our church.  Heal every member and every family.  Heal every visitor that walks in the door of our homes and church.  Heal every child.  Heal every leader.  Heal every situation.  Heal every area of unforgiveness and pride.  Heal our bodies.

LORD, we are sick and we need Thee!

Father, our bodies are sick.  So many of us suffer from physical infirmity.  High blood pressure, strokes, diabetes, heart disease, blood diseases, cancer, intestinal and stomach diseases, bone issues…problems with our eyes and ears, issues with our glands and organs.  OH LORD, we need Thee to be Jehovah Rapha yet again to us…to be the God who turns bitter waters sweet and declares, “...If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

OH LORD, heal us!  We are sick mentally.  We suffer from depression, anxiety and worry, anger, unforgiveness, racing thoughts, bi-polar disorders, and post-traumatic stresses of all sorts.  Many suffer from past hurts…extremely painful memories from past wickedness done to us.  Some suffer from the inability to walk in the forgiveness you offer from our sins.  Some suffer from loneliness.  Some battle despair.  Some battle suicidal thoughts.  Master, these things can be just as debilitating as bodily sickness.  Heal our minds and hearts OH LORD.  Be unto us again the God who binds up the wounded and heals the broken-hearted!

OH LORD, our enemy so often attacks our minds and bodies.  LORD, rebuke him!  LORD, stop him!  LORD, remind him that his “power” has been broken by YOURS!  Thou hast come to destroy the works of the devil!  Destroy oh LORD!  We cry out to Thee for help!

Oh LORD, Thou art a healing God.  Thou lovest to do wonderful things for Thy children.  From the Garden of Eden, You desired good things for us.  You designed us to walk with You in the cool of the day in relationship and intimacy.  You designed our bodies in perfection and health.  Sin has destroyed so much.

Master, heal us from unrepentant sin.  Heal us spiritually.  We know that one day, we will walk with Thee in complete healing in heaven…with gloried bodies and sin-free souls!  Hallelujah!  But oh LORD, we are asking for more of heaven now.  Heal our sinful hearts.  Break the power of the devil.  Heal us of lusts and lies and plots and harsh words.  Deliver us from the influence of unclean spirits and the oppression of demons.  Help us to crucify our fleshly impulses…to take captive every thought and make them obedient unto Thee!  Send Thy Spirit in power again; sanctify us!  OH LORD, Holiness, Holiness is what we long for…Holiness is what we need!

Master, I’m asking You to heal every marriage.  Heal every broken and lonely heart.  Heal every household.  Heal every parent/child relationship.

LORD, ABIDE among CRCC.  Call us deeper into Thy Presence, for therein is joy, wonder, mercy, and grace.  Pour out Thy  Spirit again upon all flesh.  Help us to enjoy the sweet communion of the Holy Spirit.

Breathe on us again.  Apply the Balm of Gilead.  Apply the salve from Thy mouth.  Help us to dip ourselves in Thy brook.  Help us to eat the true Manna that came down from heaven.

We cannot heal ourselves.  We are totally dependent upon Thee.

LORD Jesus, you said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."  Luk 4:18-19

Heal us oh LORD.  It’s what You do!  Praise Your GREAT NAME!

We love You.

Amen

6am Prayer Day 4

He who holds the seven stars and walks among the seven golden candlesticks…Alpha and Omega…He who was, and is, and is to come…

LORD Christ, on behalf of CRCC, I come unto Thee this morning asking that Thou wouldst, by Thy grace, give us Ears to Hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches…

Your Word declares:

Act 28:24-27  And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.  25  And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,  26  Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:  27  For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Oh LORD, is there a more difficult and damaging place for a believer to be in than seeing but not able to see and hearing but not able to hear?  What judgment!  Forgive us Oh LORD, for so often our hearts are fat, our ears are heavy, and our eyes are shut.  LORD, your prophet Jeremiah declared, “"To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it."  Jer 6:10

Oh LORD, I plead with Thee: give us ears to hear.  Please give us ears to hear.  Please unstop our hearing, Open our understanding and our spiritual eyesight.  For without Thee, we will become dull of hearing, quick to speak, quick to take offense, slow to obey…

Merciful God, Thou hast said so many times, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”  LORD, this seems to imply that many cannot or will not hear.  OH LORD, let this never be our testimony!

Thou art such a good, good Father.  Thy precepts, statutes, judgments, and laws are perfect in every way.  Thou hast blessed us with revelation of Thy Son, who Himself is the living Word, the Word made flesh!  Not being able to see, hear, and perceive cripples us!  This is not Your will!

Master, it was the sad testimony of Thy people Israel in the wilderness to see but not see, hear, but not hear, over and over again.  This hardness and stubbornness of heart plagued them to the point they could not/would not see Thy Son among them, eventually putting Him on a cross!  OH LORD, let our righteousness exceed that of the Pharisees!  Help us hear!

Finally Master, Thy Word declares hearing is not enough.  I beseech Thee to take us farther…

Jas 1:22  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

LORD, if we hear, but do not do, we deceive ourselves.  We literally promote our own self-deception and self-destruction.  In this state, so much changes.  Our ability to sense Thy love and the love of others wanes.  Our relationships take on a pessimistic hue.  We become unwilling to give and serve.  Our faithfulness drops.  We begin looking for excuses not to attend worship, pray, hear preaching, and forgive.  Our joy lessens.  We become susceptible to sins about which we know better.  Our discernment dulls.  We open ourselves up to depression and anxiety.  Judgment!

Help us to be the sort of church upon which you look for we have trembled at Thy Word!  Touch us as individuals and households to clearly stand for Thee in our behavior.  Arrest our hearts and minds towards loving and joyful adjustments to Thy Precepts!  Change our HEARTS oh LORD!

OH LORD, cause us to be an obedient church…a church who longs for Thy courts and Thy commands!  Thou hast saved us from our sins.  I pray now that Thou wouldst save us from ourselves.

Rebuke the enemy who would sow division and discord among the brethren.  Instead, teach us your ways oh LORD that we might walk in Truth; unite our hearts to fear Thy Name.

In Jesus’ Name.

Amen

6am Prayer Day 3

Merciful LORD,

I come unto Thee this morning asking for one thing for CRCC: JOY!

Sovereign LORD, I’m asking You to give unto us, overwhelming, life-changing, all-encompassing, Holy Ghost empowered Joy in every area of our lives!

Joy that is independent of all circumstances.  Joy that flows from our faith in Thee.  Joy that is based on what You did on the Cross.  Joy that is rooted in Thy Precepts.  Joy that is greater than happiness.  Joy that only increases when the bad report comes!!!!  Joy that isn’t subject to what day of the week it is!!  Joy that looks forward to heaven wherein we shall gaze upon Thee forever and ever!

Yes oh LORD…please grant Thy people unspeakable JOY by Faith!

LORD Jesus, we are in such a battle.  All around us the world shakes its fist at Thee.  Even in Thy Church, we balk at Thy goodness; our haughtiness is on full display as we cast Thy Word aside to please men.  We can read the signs of the times and know that the globe is heading for disaster.

But YOU oh LORD are Master of the Globe!! YOU are KING and LORD, and YOU are above all things!  Great is the LORD, and greatly to be Praised!

YOU oh LORD have spoken the end from the beginning!  YOU alone oh LORD have all dominion and power!  YOU King Jesus rule and reign and YOU Father will make all things new!  From everlasting to everlasting, Thou alone art God and there is none besides Thee!  YOU are the Creator of all things and YOU alone are mighty to save!

So Thy people have every reason to walk in the Joy of the Kingdom.  Oh LORD, grant our church the JOY OF THE LORD, that our strength in Thee might rise!

Father, I’m praying You grant every family a new and powerful JOY.  Every person a new and powerful joy.  Let them rejoice today and be exceedingly glad!  Jesus is LORD!  Jesus reigns!  Jesus is coming back again!

Father, I’m praying You grant us joy in worship.  Joy when we sign together!  Joy when we pray together!  Joy when we see each other!!!  LORD, may there be less heads hanging down and feeble knees!  May there be less frowns in our countenances.  LORD, may you grant us the peace that comes from keeping our minds stayed upon Thee, obey Thee, and walking in sweet fellowship with Thee!

Father, I’m praying for joyful, happy children in our homes!!  I’m asking You to do a powerful work in our teens!  Grant every 20-something an overwhelming sense of joy despite the pressures they are under!  Imbue every person and ever godly relationship with a JOY they haven’t yet known!  Joyful singles!  Joyful mature saints!  Joy while we serve!  Joyful worshippers!  Joyful unto obedience!  LORD, even joy on social media!!  Hallelujah!  Please LORD!

Oh LORD, let us place our trust, confidence, and hope in THEE!  Let us never forget Thy power, love, forgiveness, grace, authority, and mercy!

You have saved us!  You have purchased us with Thine own blood!  Thou hast called Thy people the apple of Thine eye!

We are totally unworthy of the gift of joy, for we are daily sinners.  And yet Thou hast declared Thy desire that our joy might be full!  Praise your great Name!

May CRCC become a church that rejoices at a greater level.  May we joyfully enter into Thy Presence; may it be with joyful praise that we enter into Thy courts!  May CRCC remember that Jesus is Enough!  Break depression!  Break sins!  Break sadness and loneliness!  Break strongholds!  Break pride!  Break cynicism!  Break nitpicking and gossip!  Break unfaithfulness!  YOU are too GOOD a Savior for those things!  Replace with Thy peace, love, and your JOY!  Heal us with Thy JOY!

Yes oh LORD, we ask Thee for greater JOY.

We love You so much Jesus!

Amen!

6am Prayer Day 2

LORD and King,

I come to you this morning with the children and younger people of CRCC in my heart. I set them before you…from the unborn and suckling babe to the most mature teen.

Oh LORD, Thou hast been so good to them.  Thou hast created them.  Thou hast taught them.  Thou hast made us, their parents, aware of the immense responsibility set before us…to oversee and shepherd precious and eternal souls made in Your image!

And we are so grateful for them!  Your Word declares that children are a blessing from Thee, that happy and blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them!

Master, Thou hast commanded that the children of the covenant, children with Christian parents, be taught the things of God.  Thou hast commanded that they be instructed diligently, as we sit in our homes, as we walk with them by the way, as we lie down, and when we rise.  Help us obey Thee!!!!

LORD, Thy Word shows the pattern of worshipping with them, walking with them, singing with them, and serving with them. LORD, never let us forget that each crying baby among us is a joy…that each precious noise we hear reminds us of Thy love and faithfulness!  Each talk with a teen is a privilege!  Each time of family prayer makes heaven smile!  Each time of discipline flows from love and a desire to see hearts change!

But Jesus, we also know that the enemy of our souls seeks to destroy the seed.  We know the devil hates our children.  We know he has concocted an all encompassing worldly net to teach them things contrary to Thy Word…a net that is woven through so much of contemporary life.

Oh LORD, rebuke him.  Stop the plan of the enemy to teach, confuse, trap, and kill our children.  Protect them oh LORD from perversions, lies about who they are, depression and despair, evil media, and ungodly worldviews.  May our homes and our church be cities of refuge!

Help us to see that as parents, we must watch and pray.  We must be mindful that our children, who might know Scripture and be familiar with the things of God, might yet be unredeemed.

Help us continue to preach the Gospel in our homes!  Help us to keep checking fruit!  Help us to be faithful in discipling them! Help us to pray for them continually, set them before Thy Word continually, and nurture them!  Help us to love them as Thou hast loved them!

Precious LORD, open our hearts even more for hurting children, both down the street and around the world.  So many need a father and mother.  A big sister or brother.  Show us the children who are starving, lost, desperate, angry, and crying out.  Help us protect the children who may be aborted.  Move us to action.

These and so many other things we ask, in Jesus’ Name.

Amen.
